I am restoring my 1929 Ford model A. I have been using brattons catalog primarily. They supply most everything I have needed, but they don't have very much as far as body parts. I am not opposed to aquiring metal working equipment and trying to make them myself. This project is truly a labor of love! This truck was willed to me after my grandfather and grandmother passed away. He had several model A's all restored but this truck it was still a daily driver to him. It would be great to get his (baby) fully restored. Does anybody have any suggestions on where to find body parts for this truck? It will make my life much easier!!
Howell's out of , I think, Nederland, Texas makes a lot of the panels but there have been quite a few complaints on delivery since the son took it over. Not all of their parts fit as good as originals either. There is another Model A supply called Sniders or Snyders, you might try them.
What parts are you looking for? A bunch of that stuff can be found on ebay.
Sounds like a great project you have there especially with the family history associated with the truck. Number Dummy is correct - there are lots of suppliers for Model A's. I've got a 29 Coupe myself and it is a head turner on the road. Not because it's anything fancy...just OLD. Would love to get my hands on a Model A truck someday.
I will be posting before, during and someday finished pics. I am currently excited about my pole barn going up in the spring and I have a lift that will be installed in it to! so I will be back into the swing of things and will resume restoration. I have spread out to many truck projects and paid for it.

Yes I do lol. I think I am his only customer that gets a gift for Christmas. Most of those are put up for winter now, just the plow trucks, the beater, and the grocery getters left till spring.
The aftermarket parts look good in the catalog, when you actually try to use them you'll need that equipment you mentioned.
I try to find original stuff on ebay, even with dents and some rust thru it is still original steel and will work better. No matter what you get it'll take a lot of work to fit it up.
If you're serious about metal shaping etc then try www.allmetalshaping.com
Some pretty slick guys on there that will give good advice.
