378 is correct, but nobody would have any idea what you're talking about as the days of measuring displacement in normal units is gone...
heck, you could get away with 380 if you really wanted. Many of the old engines were a few ci off to make it a good round number that was easy to remember.

Yeah, I know, but I'm old curmudgeon like that and I'd bet some others are as well. But that is why I included the liter emblem as well. I purchased the 6.2L emblem from the Raptor and put them on my F-250, but when I saw these I liked them better and wanted to see if others did as well.

You wouldn't happen to have a part number for the Raptor 6.2L emblem would you?

Sure do:

I picked them up from the Ford dealer that is a sponsor here, I can't remember which one, but it's something like Dave the Parts Guy, not sure. On the Raptor it goes on the driver and passenger doors and the "L" is an outline so the color of your truck shows trough. I tried it in a couple of locations before setting on putting mine under the F-250 logo on the fender.
Update: It was from Silver State Ford Parts where I got them.

Wow, almost $30 each for those things. Not sure if I want some or not.

Wizkid, I know what you mean, but hey, at least there are 5.4 emblems out there to choose from!
Tosa, $30 is a little steep especially if you are buying two, plus shipping, etc. If you know someone at your local dealer, or have a good relationship with them you get them a little cheaper. I use to know a guy at my dealer, but he moved out of state. I use to get everything a cost plus 15%.
Finding a place to put such an emblem on the '11 & '12 SD's is a challenge. I did some test fits with the 6.2L Raptor emblems on where to place them. I tried the door like on the Raptor's, didn't look right and didn't want to copy the Raptor. I tried the edge of the hood bump, but it wasn't angled right, and I tried the front of the fender like the Triton engine size logo and it was too cramped because the Raptor emblem goes on the door so it's good size. I settled on the spot under the F-250 badge, but it is still less than optimal.
The emblems I posted were just examples. I want an emblem for myself and did some checking and there's nothing, no big surprise, right? So I thought I would gauge the interest here and get a custom emblem made up and folks here can get them at nearly cost. The couple places I checked with that I found said a typical run to be cost effective is 1000 pieces. A couple of guys on the 6.2 engine forum said a 6.2L Boss in gray/smoke would look better and so would a 378/379 Boss, actually it would be the other way around Boss .... . They also like the ides of doing them so they would fit on the hood bump.
Here's what the 6.2L Raptor emblem looks like where I stuck it on my truck.
