7.3 Longevity
When I turned 15, i started looking for a job. Unfortunatly, because of the location I live in, and a shortage of jobs, the only thing I found work in was landscaping and mowing lawns. The job I had over that summer was fine because my boss would deliver all the material thay I needed. When I had to mow at one of his commercial buildings, I would stick my lawn mower and weed wacker in the truck of my Cadillac (which I hated doing). Months of job searching only rewarded me with one opprotunity. That job has been the one that I've had since august, and I work once a week and make roughly $60. That made me enough for gas to get to and from school every day (can't take the bus or transit; late arrival and early release), and every couple weeks I could pay my dad back for what I owed him (debt wasn't part of the plan. One engine I bought went to ****, problems I didn't know about).
So yes, I have myself in a **** position. I realize that. But it's a vicious cycle. I didn't have a truck to landscape this summer so I couldn't make money to pay off my debt or to buy a truck to make money to pay off my debt. Since I've sold my cadillac, i was presented with two options. Either pay off my dad and put the rest into savings (which is what i'm going ti do), or use what I made off my car to buy something right then (which is what my plan was when I asked this question).
I know i'm in a bad position, and i've come to terms with that. I've made a few bad choices when it came to my truck, and it's a learning process. If I could have known then what I know now, I wouldn't be here asking questions.
Thanks
Jameson
hell you can buy two idi trucks for a set of psd injectors!Hey jameson dont sweat it, we all make mistakes, just sucks when they hit us hard financially. you might have spent alot of money on your project truck but thats money invested in educating yourself IMO, live with no regrets!
