what does this sound like?
ok, i am kinda lost on this one, my truck is really hard to start, it is like the motor is really hard to turn over, the motor will turn so slow, like 1 rotation a second, but it doesn't do it all of the time. it has done it more often lately. usually, if i wait like 15 mins i can go out and start it up by feathering the clutch. and it has been dieing driving down the road but that happens like 2 times a week. is my alternator dieing. the starter is two months old and the battery is almost 9 months old, plugs wires cap rotor and fuel filter done 8 months ago. also it makes this weird smell like something is burning but any help is appreciated, thanks

take it to a auto parts place like the zone and have them check your batt/alt out i bought a new battery about five years ago and it turned out it was bad (cells) would run ok until i had to turn on a bunch of electrical at one time (lights stereo,a/c ect then it would die

the hard starting problem turned out to be a burnt up starter, right after my first post i went out to try and start my truck and it just kept making this loud clicking and it made this really bad smell, so i exchanged the starter and it starts up fine now but, that still doesn't fix the dieing problem, i am gonna take it in and have the alternator and battery tested. thanks
