I guess it makes me feel a little better. I haven't paid a dime to the government (with exception of state taxes) since I lost my job almost 5 1/4 years ago. I wish that there was more jobs out there that I'm capable of doing.

I lost my job in August 2007. I was tossed to the side as a temp worker. But, in that time since I lost that job I've done the following major things in my life... I trained to be a truck driver (Still have the license but now I don't remember too much about what I learned). I tried to train as a school bus driver (Between the time I got my CDL & the time I started this venture... it was six months since I drove a commercial vehicle so I sucked driving a bus). I started recycling scrap metal for pocket change. I was a licensed life insurance agent in Florida (But, since I have a hard time dealing with people... I wasn't successful doing that). While I was in Florida for my 11 months of vacation (with my uncle "L") I had the chance to train as a plumber, tiler, & a blind, shade, & shudder installer, I saved money for around one year to buy Rustoleum (The most expensive thing I've ever bought by myself). But, while all of that was going on I mostly sat on my a$$ & watched tv, used the computer, & played video games. True story !

I doubt that. I officially stopped looking for work 1 1/2 years ago (I got very discouraged). In the 3 1/2 years that I was looking for a job I got two interviews (But, no call backs 
). I won't try again until there are more jobs out there.
