And almost always for the conference title. They are working out a deal for them to play in 2020-2021, for the 50th anniversary of the Game of the Century.

Maryland and Rutgers. Won't do a damn thing for football. It's mainly a money move, to get the Big Ten Network into New York and Washington. Maryland has a decent basketball tradition, but that's about it.

Not a lot of teams that are traditionally great football programs that are willing to jump conferences. I would have gone for say, Boston College, and maybe Pitt, or Va tech.

Pitt is headed to the ACC but I think they would have fit the Big 10 better. Plus their basketball program would have added a little in my opinion.

Yep, completely agree. I know another thing was the academic side, the Big 10 is pretty picky about that. Did you see that Boise State, San Diego State, and another team want to go back to the Mountain West, instead of Going to the Big East?

No I didn't see that..didn't they all recently shift conferences?

Yeah, they were all supposed to go to the Big East, but with Maryland leaving, they want to negotiate to stay with the Mountain west. What a mess!
