I think my baby may be sick. Always had a big black puff during a hard take off but now recently I've got a huge black cloud the entire time its floored. Also, its falling short of 40 psi where it usually tops out at.

No I haven't. It's more sluggish off the line now also. Been running this tune for a while now with no issues. Not sure what could have changed all of the sudden..
You know... I've kind of felt like mine doesn't have quite as much "get up and go" as she used to. I'm running almost identical except my defuels are a little more conservative. How's your fluids? Did you get the latest H&S update? I'm gonna dig under the hood this weekend and see if I might have a loose or torn boot somewhere. CAC, downpipe or something. Didn't think too much of it, but then you posted this...
I did re install the tuning again, didn't change anything. Not fixed. I will say it was shortly after my last service that this problem started. Changed both fuel filters. The one under the truck, drivers frame rail was shot. Couldn't have been working at all. Service department must have missed it the past few times.. maybe I need to check my air piping for a torn boot also. Must be getting plenty of fuel due to the smoke but the boost just isn't coming up..
it could be something to do with the winter blend fuel... maybe thats just how your truck runs on it... have you tried adding Cetane booster? I bought some from Ford and truck seems to run smoother and builds boost better

Nothing to do with winter fuel, it doesn't make a truck run much different if at all?????
I would be looking for a blown boot or maybe a severly clogged air filter?
Problem fixed. Had to be a leaky boot. Never did "see" anything wrong but I loosened all of them up, cleaned them and re tightened them all. Must have been leaking past a clamp.

Good to know. I was looking today while fueling and I've got a good amount of a black oily substance on the cold side CAC boot going into the CAC. I'm wondering if that's leaking somewhat. I'll remove and clean it up tomorrow. Other boots all checked out ok from a basic visual inspection.
