When I turned the turbo up.....I got 10 in town, the sound makes it hard to stay out of it, much like the Powerstrokes

Im sure it does Drew. Some of my biggest issues is the people that dont know how to drive the roads I drive. When there is a hill I will pick up speed before I get to it to help me get momentum to pull me up the other hill. Old technique I used when I was sdriving myfirst truck which had a manual trans in it.

lol, I quit
I drove semi for a while, I know ALL about grunting up hills, saves fuel believe it or not, a small 5% grade would make the qualcom MPG numbers drop quick, but dropping a gear or two and picking up a bit to slingshot you up and over, the number stayed the same, I do it in my car, it's habit now.

Yeah it is a habit for me as well. I do it even though my truck is an automatic. It helps alot. Gonna take me longer to get home from the office tonight. HAve to take a few detours to get home due to water mains that decided to give way today.

This town is horrible about detours and roadwork, anytime your running late....they shut down your "Normal" route, with detours that put you farther away from your route.
