what size cooler needed
have a C6 mated to my Inline six. Standard radiator (was a 4-speed manual) - My truck is a full size F250 4-door 1972- It is only used as a highway truck, what size tranny cooler do I need?

Just go by the boxes and get one sized a little larger than the gross veh. weight(towing included). I used a large one on mine( see galery for pics ) and have never had a minutes trouble out of the tranny.

Ditto. I have a tranny cooler on my 79 1-ton, rated at 19,000lb gvw - and it works great. Just remember, if you are hauling a heavy load, never shift into neutral going downhill. This doesn't allow the fluid to circulate and will fry the tranny. Remember to check the fittings every so often too. Other than that - easy to hook up.
