Yup, it`s a 13 sd with a 400 big Cam Cummins. It`s a beaut but too heavy for my use, it`s a tri-axle dump in TN.

Didnt realize wanting a decent quality rig was being picky lol.

Havent heard many guys that like them, with the exception of the price. They are priced cheap for a reason, they simply are cheap.

Let me know when you actually find a cheap one that`s not all beat up.

Sterlings are cheaper all around then other makes, not just cheap in price.

Cheap for what they are is what I mean I guess.

Around $20,000 tho that depends if it`s got a gravel box or not plus I`d prefer an air ride.

Good luck, for 20 grand you wont get much more then what you have right now. Its a fairly hot market for gravel trucks right now, or so it seems.

That`s what I have found out too. I`d even go for a later model without a gravel box and hoist for that kind of money provided it was in nice shape. There was a 98 L8000 at the local RB auction last month that went for $20,000 that I was interested in but I had too much work so I couldn't make it.

Thats still pretty price for a l8000. I know your a fan of them and whatnot, but they can usually be found for pretty cheap, and 98 is getting to be an old truck.
