It is actually not done yet! I drew that mockup over a photo in Photoshop and picked the material colors. I drew some rough lines on my existing seat and My local trim shop is doing the work....He is reshaping the new foam a bit with some added side bolstering. He knows my project is months away from needing any interior pieces so he has put me on the back burner for now. :/
My Photoshop Mockup.... Rough lines taped and drawn on the '67 seats
Thanks for posting Pete! You actually reminded me that I haven't spoken to the trim shop since before Christmas... They have me on the back burner as they know I have lots of other stuff to complete before actually needing the seats. They will have the foam shaped for me to look at this week... I will post pictures when I see them.
The project has been slow as it has gotten too cold out to be doing the needed metal work on the body outside under the canopy where it lives for now. I have been getting my engine and related parts ready to take to the builder soon to start that. I am going to do a 312/292 Y block build with a 312 crank and heads and a '62 C2AE block. Should be a good combo. I also took a side step and purchased a '64 F250 with a 312/292 in it. That motor was put in in '73 per a pencil note on the glovebox door. I installed some disc brakes on the front and am changing the gearing of the Dana 60 rear end so it is a bit more freeway friendly. I am going to use it as my shop truck/tow vehicle. I am trying to just get it to a point I can get in and drive a couple hours without worry. I am also trying not to let it become more of a project than it needs to be, as it was a good runner when I got it.
Thanks for asking.. I will post a new thread later in the week here with some other updates....
