tailgate trim attachment
Hey guys,
Can you attach the trim piece that says Ford to a tailgate that didn't originally have it? I ask cause i have the opportunaty to buy a brand new shell with no trim and no hardware. mine has good trim and hardware justa bad shell.

That depends on how you want to attach it... the tailgate the doesn't have the trim won't have the holes, so you'd have to drill holes in your new gate. Which should be easy since your old gate can be used as a template.
Or you can do the old double-sided tape trick, but I am not sure how long that would really last.
