keyless entry and engine remote start for diesels?
i dont know if its possible or if its a good idea to have a remote start for diesels? since you need to warm up the coil before firing, a remote start cant do that right?
but if there is something available for the diesels is it possible to have a keyless entry and remote start on the same remote?
currently i dont have anything, i mean i have a keyless entry remote but i dont think my truck actually has anything to make that work, maybe someone removed it or who knows, there is about 4-5 wires hanging there behind the filter driver side, im guessing it was for OEM keyless entry or some alarm, but the remote is OEM, so i dont know what its missing

I have a Compustar remote starter with keyless entry. It was installed by a pro they know how to set the delay for the glow plugs. I've had it for three yrs. with no problem. Has 1000 ft start range.

I have a Python alarm/remote start, and yes it has the delay for the remote start. These things are programmable to do anything you want them to these days...
