I have a E450 motorhome chassie and on inspection , i found the boots on the lower ball joints to be breaking up.. this is a 2000 model with 17000 miles. my warrentee expires the 25 of this month and no dealer can even look at the motorhome for two weeks. is this a job i can tackel myself since i cant get it in to be covered by warrentee before it expires. has anyone ever done there own on a E450 chassie?

Make an appointment at the dealer you bought it from and tell them the situation. They have to cover it under warranty if you make the appointment before the warranty runs out. They may ask you to drive it in so they can verify the boots but MAKE THE APPOINTMENT before the warranty runs out.

 

thats the problem , they cant even look at it for two weeks. sorry dealers
