intercooler question

Will a 7.3 intercooler fit? I was looking behind my grill and didn't look like much room back there. From the a/c and all any have any pics off there's?

Anyone know were I can get a ic and spider? Can't find one around here:/

Isnt the trans cooler supposed to go in front of everything? or else it significantly decreases the efficiency?

haha Yeah the intercoolers are everywhere (at least the 6.0 are) but the spyders pop up ocassionally and disappear quickly. Gotta jump on em when you find one.

Also, IMHO if you find a 7.3 IC from the 99 SD then you should jump on that too... its the only IC that was fully aluminum.. mounts and all.

Alex, I've barely seen over 200, towing in 95*, windy weather with the trailer pictured. It may be a little better placed in front, but this works just fine. According to Mark K, you can run upwards of 220 all day long. Air still flows through that IC pretty good I'm sure.

Check with home run auto in souix falls. He gets the spyders in quite frequently from what ive noticed. I'll get u the thread with the number.
