2WD Sport truck thread

Show them off! If you are lowered, please list your suspension parts and tire size! Here's a few of my new truck, will be getting more sporty over the winter.

I'm in the process of lowering and changing wheels, they still need polished.

I need to change them damn mirrors too!

come on guys, I know you're out there. Trying to see if there is enough interest to get our own section, you could talk about lowering and such without fear!

This isn't Pirate4x4, you can speak of such mods without fear.

Read that thread back to front, would like a fresh one please!

Especially if people would list drop and tire size

It's not too bad in here, but in the '92-'96 forum you get a bunch of "Trucks should only be lifted rabble rabble knuckle draggers"

I fear no man, but it'd be nice to have somewhere that us sport truck guys actually belong

That one is kept up to current pretty much and most everybody has posted theirs in there. I understand wanting to see drop heights listed but don't really get the need for redundant thread things - especially if it'll be the same pictures posted over again.

Agreed. That's a big problem on the forum for my Jeep club. People ask for pictures of certain lifts/tire sizes and when told that there's already 53 threads talkign about the same exact thing, they don't want that, they want fresh. Well? Post in the original and bring fresh info and attention to it!

And then there is no new threads anymore. I realize we don't want the same threads over and over, but when the one your talking about is a few years old, come on man!

I think maybe enough time has passed that we could start a new one. The 2wd lowering and wheel/tire info is pretty sparse in this forum. I've searched and read for hours on end just to end up with very little info at all. After sorting through threads and threads of unrelated junk.

Few years old? So you didn't look past the 1st page did you??? Most recent post is about a month & 3 days old. Last page of it is within the last 3 months. So my suggestion is start at page 55 and read backwards...

It's ok though if you really want to push another thread, we do need another thread of unrelated junk to add to that bunch you looked through

One thing I have done in a couple of smaller forums I help moderate is started and stickied a thread for suspension setups. It basically was for everyone to post 2 or 3 good pictures of their trucks, like 1 side, 1 front and a 3/4 shot. List the drop or lift and the parts used to achieve said adjustment. List wheel and tire size and offset. If they have a build thread a link to it is recommended also. Any extra posts are deleted so as to keep it clean and informative. Something like that would be pretty nice on any forum really.

These are both fairly small and fairly specific forums so they aren't nearly as active as this one.

DuallyScene.com • View thread - How we roll. (Suspension setups)

mazdabscene.com • View thread - Suspension setups and pics
