How is the build quality and fittment of aftermarket parts and who builds the highest quality parts? I'm sure this has been discussed a million times but I'm new to the site and can't find anything on it thanks guys

 

Depending on where you're located, I have an entire bed from a 1978 truck that is in good condition for sale. Dual gas doors, minor body damage, only surface rust in the floor. No tailgate. I'm in Olympia, WA. PM for details.

Can't speak to repro bed parts, as I've only traded in complete beds. They're usually available in good condition out here.

 

Ive used aftermarket patch panels for rust repair. The metal isnt as thick, but I didnt need to use the entire panel. The panels work ok for what they are. The tailgates are crap..too thin. Keep your eye out for a used one.

 

I'm in Manitoba so unless its perfect its a big tour but would be interested in a perfect box. Thanks
