'70 360 V8 power steering pully R&R
Ok, so I've decided to replace the Power Steering pump, 'cuse it's making a gawd-aweful intermitent racket.
Not that big of a job, even if I also change out the hoses for new parts.
Swapping the pully from the old unit to the new unit has me pondering. What's the best way to remove and replace this pully?

The pulley has to be pressed off/on. Autoparts store machine shops can do this.
Any other method could bend the pulley...or worse. Replacement may be difficult to find, considering there's several different types and offsets, all of which have been obsolete since Reagan was prez.
If it's C9TZ-3A733-D (marked: DOAR-3D673-B), you're SOL, no one has any.

BTW, do you have the dope on the dual-groove pully for the alternator on my trucks? The recent rebuild went to single-groove for the alternator and I'd like to go back to dual-groove/dual belts. 1970, f-250, 360 cid v-8, think it's the standard alternator. I'll have to double-check, but I think the rest of the dual-belt pullies were reinstalled, so it should be an easy switch.

This kit removes and installs p/s pulleys...> CJ3PSA, Set, Power Steering and Alternator Pulley Puller/Installer
You can rent similar tools at your local parts house.
