rear drums lock
i have a 98 supercab ranger 4.0. something is putting pressure on the rear drums, and i am not sure if they need adjusting or what?it feels like the emergency brake might be on a little bit ,but i am not sure. Anyone have this problem before?

I have a 94 F-350 and I took it to Meineke for a free inspection and they said my E-brake was stuck on. I guess Ford had some problem with this because they have issued several service bulletins. It is probably why I am getting at best 8 miles a gallon!

I had this problem with my wifes car, the parking brake cables are old and full or dirt and rust, and they wouldn't fully release which caused me to drag a tire once or twice, the heat buildup also cracked my new brakes. I am gonna try cleaning them up and greasing the hell out of them before I buy new ones.
