Uh oh.. no spark..

Hello all. 99 F150, 4.2L V6, 2WD, auto, 180K miles.
Truck is not being used until we rebuild the trans. But it IS started and run every week or two weeks max. Has a recent set of Motorcraft plugs, plug wires and coil pack. (within 5000 miles) Has never given us a problem like this; it always starts.
I did notice one thing different; upon turning the key, the speedo and tach needles went from 0 to full right sweep and then back to 0. Never noticed that before.
So, where do I start troubleshooting? Is there a fuse or relay that goes bad? And ..Which one would it be? I sprayed carb cleaner down the throttle body and it didn't even hit.

Would it be the main ECU? Thank you for any info.

Battery circuit.
Clean the cable ends and battery terminals.
Make sure the battery gets recharged from starting each time.
Test battery and charge circuit so you know there good.
Everytime you start your take some life out of the battery, corroding cables, wear on the starter etc.
Your not gaining anything be starting the motor like that.
Just keep the battery charged every few weeks until it's ready to be driven..
You would have had this same problem later on after the other work was complete.
Good luck.
