7.3l IDI heads
This should be a pretty easy question to answer. I have a 88 f250 7.3l idi that has needed a valve job for a while. I found some 7.3l heads that were off of a 7.3l with a turbo. are they the same? can i just swap them out on mine?

Daley, the heads are the same, but I would have them magnafluxed before you put them on. IDI heads are notorious for cracking. I went through 8 heads to find two good ones.

Hey thanks alot. I think i'll go ahead and get them this morning, since the guy is selling them for pretty reasonable price. They're used but the bottom end on my truck is not new either. I'm not looking forward to this swap,It is a tough job with the motor in place
