Do you know the Berrys then? Cherity and my wifes brother were married on the ballfield in Coulterville. Been back there a couple of times since, but they now live in between Aviston and Breese, and we visit there quite a bit. In case you're not familiar with Aviston or Breese...they're on Rt 50 between Lebenon and Carlyle.
Yes I know the Berrys. Courtney is my age. Patti or should I say Mrs Berry was my grade school science teacher. The dump of a golf course you played on at marissa was the home course for our golf team.
Thats cool, cause its a pretty small town, I still tell people im from Coulterville when they ask.
We had a lot of fun in that scramble played at "the dump of a golf course". Can't remember what it was for, but Patti played on mine and my brother-in-laws team...she just wanted to beat Tim (her hubby). We only beat them by 14 shots...hahahaha. Now that Roger lives up by Aviston he bought a membership to Governors Run...it's a pretty nice place to play (a little better than Marissa's course ). I really enjoy getting down to the southern half of the state (much more laid back, friendlier people). Seems like Peoria just keeps getting worse and worse. Hence my description of it above (ARMPIT OF IL).
