Prayers please.
I would like everyone to say a prayer for my dad today. He is undergoing surgery today to remove a blood clot in his leg and add a filter to catch some small ones in his lungs before they spread any further. Thank you all.

My parents were out here from Cali im May of this year. The day before they were supposed to fly back, my Dad was having shortness of breath when we were leaving church. We finally talked him into going to the ER. They got him in right away. As it turned out, he was having a heart attack AND several blood clots in his lungs and his legs. He is 74 years old and has been a runner all of his life. In really good shape. They put him on blood thinners and put in one of those filters to keep the clots in his legs from doing any damage. He spent 7 days in the hospital before heading home.
He was having the shortness of breath problem for about a year before this and the idiot doctors in his town (Ukiah, CA) couldn't figure it out. I just praise God that he was here when it happened and the docs here figured it out quickly.

He came through surgery great and was able to eat dinner. They decided against the removal of the clot due to causing trauma to the vein but did put in the screen. They are going to tackle the clot in his leg with blood thinners. They said the spots in his lungs were pieces from the leg clot that had broke loose and werent threatening.Thank you all so much for your prayers and concern.
