Prayers please.
I would like everyone to say a prayer for my dad today. He is undergoing surgery today to remove a blood clot in his leg and add a filter to catch some small ones in his lungs before they spread any further. Thank you all.

He came through surgery great and was able to eat dinner. They decided against the removal of the clot due to causing trauma to the vein but did put in the screen. They are going to tackle the clot in his leg with blood thinners. They said the spots in his lungs were pieces from the leg clot that had broke loose and werent threatening.Thank you all so much for your prayers and concern.

I can say from experience that he is extremely lucky he didn't have a pulmonary embolism from the clot in his lungs. I had a massive clot in my leg about 12 yrs ago and almost killed me. the pain from a blood clot is 10 times worse than any pulled muscle pain that you could ever experience...terrible. I will say a prayer for you and your dad and hope he recovers quickly.
