Yep. Priced out one today. I made the most expensive SRW truck I could.
Came to $68,865 before tax and delivery.
The price of a luxury car, the ride and utility of a truck.
I'm glad I ordered a 2012. They got rid of the Dark Blue Pearl for 2013. I also built a truck identical to what I bought and it was about $800 more with $2k less in incentives.
They added Blue Jean as a color. I guess this way the color of your truck won't clash with your pants while working.
I wasn't too sure about the Blue Jean color, but it does look good. I see that the camper package is standard on the 250 4x4's I built and Ford offers a extra heavy duty alt as a stand alone option. Still no option for factory wheel flares on the lower trims though.
The one I priced went for about 53K and some change. Obviously not near is schmancy as A/Ox4. And since they took away the Forest Green (now Green Gem...not as nice), I like the Blue Jeans. Especially the two-tone over the stone grey. Looks pretty nice. Ah, but I'm just dreaming. I'm not in the market for one yet...yet!
I tried to cross check '12 and '13 prices. As best as I could tell the price was about $1,400 more...but the '13 KR now comes with the nav system standard which I didn't want...$900 more...and the website will not let you order snowplow pkg with KR and 20 in tires??? So for me it looks like the '13 would have cost me about $1400more...not considering incentives...$4,000...and dealer wanting to sell '12's before end of year...my trade-in was worth about $500 to $1000 more than it would be had i waited for a '13...sooo, don't try to follow the math but I think that I got my '12 for $12,000 to $15,000 less than if I had waited...plus gratifcation (NOT) delayed
