Hello,
I have a 1989 f150 with a 302ci motor. The problem is that when it is cool it runs fine but as the truck warms up it starts running bad. It starts pinging like a spark knock or valve rattle when I accelerate, along with backfiring and lack of power. The temperature seems fine and the timing is fine . It has fuel injection. I can't figure this out. Any ideas?
thanks
Dave
