Who cares what state he's from? He just asked a question.
For what it's worth, I've had good experience with roll-on bedliners. Put down a coat of Zero-Rust on the bed first and then roll the liner. I get good comments about it all the time. The Zero-Rust will protect the bed from rusting and the bedliner sticks to it better than the metal.
Yes it matters... issues related to thermal mass, humidity levels, and precipitation.
I did mind with blue/white/gray 20-77 color of zolatone this was used in car trunk & beds before the nasty black looking liner spray or roll on came along. There's about 12 colors to pick form. I also cover the inside floor with in a sheet of 1/2" as not to scratch it up while the camper was on it. Plus other stuff eng- block/trannys floor jack all the shxt one will haul in the bed at times.. Mind has been on since 1995 still looks good pretty after all this time just do good prep work..orich
I do not like bed liners personally. I have passed on buying trucks because it had a spray in liner. How in the world would you ever get rid of that stuff? I imagine it would be best to just buy another bed than try to mess with cleaning it off of 1.

I guess really it all comes down to how someone uses the truck. As it's ez to scratch the paint off in the beds. Plus where you live if it rains & snows a lot. And we've all seen rusted out, dented up beds.So then a liner or spary on may be the way for them..orich

Very true! If I was going to use it for a work truck or strictly hauling stuff in the bed all the time it would probably be a good thing to have. If I was wanting something restorable.....I would PASS. I could not imagine putting that in my truck, which I would never haul anything in mine anyway so there are different ways to look at it. "PERSONALLY", if I was looking to buy a truck I would not buy it because I would always wonder whats under that liner. Very easy to hide rough spots and imperfections with that stuff.
