Does anyone know if a 2012 F250 Lariot diesel with a nav system has an outside temperature display?

Almost assuredly. You should have a button on the controls for inside/outside temp. In your Lariat.

If you don't spring for nav it also shows up in the cluster with productivity option( can't speak for the base cluster).
