Searched quickly but too lazy to surf around forever. Decided to try to keep the '98 EB expy 2WD around another couple years. Good news is that it's an El Paso, TX truck, so no rust unlike most here in Pittsburgh, but the bad news is that it's an automatic with 205,000 mi.
Any tips to make the relationship last? It's mostly the wife's ride, so I'm thinking of concentrating on the interior and media for her. Of course, since it's 2WD with the 5.4, I think blvd burner and want more hp but the challenge is feeling like the old motor and trans is worth any investment.
The issue of miles has more to do with how the vehicle has been treated and maintained. I have been running a supercharger for 75k miles on a truck that has 147k miles on it and it runs better than the day I drove it off of the lot. Motor and tranny have not been touched internally except for routine maintenance.

Wow! I always assumed people had problems later after adding hp like that. Interesting...
