I need help getting the right driven gear for my new 1975 F-250 Highboy. It has a NP-435 with a Divorced NP-205 with 4.10 gears and 36in tires. I don't know how to run the calculations and I haven't found the right thing on google or on here. Any help is appreciated!
Jeffs Bronco Graveyard has a nice chart in their parts catalog,4:10s 35/36 your good to go.....thats what Im shooting for on my truck 35s x 16.5....I have 4:10 gears ratio as well ck out their chart on rpms
Here's the one that I have used. Use 1000 for the speedo revs per mile input and 8 for the drive gear tooth count. It says you need a 18 tooth driven gear.
No problem. I had to by one recently and I found it cheapest on Ebay. Make sure you get a right handed one. The price on this one would be hard to beat.
Do you have to call them to get it cuz I can't find it?
I ordered mine online, on their website, that was a few years ago and they kept sending them, maybe they've changed their protocol, but i'm sure a quick phone call would nab you a catalog.
