One thing I will say is my 0-100psi fuel pressure gauge is tempermantal. I have the sending unit relocator hose from what used to be ITP diesel (not sure what they are now....I think Sinister but anyway). Everything worked great for a long while then the needle starting erratically jumping and then pegged like a bad sending unit does. I ordered a new one ($15), problem solved. Now every once in a while the needle will behave erratic and peg to 100psi and back to ~70 where it normally sits with the spring upgrade (no change in idle, power delivery, smoke conditions etc) so I know it is not my fuel system .....so IMO this particaular gauge/sending unit is junk....all the rest I own (4) are great.
This is EXACTLY the same thing that happened with mine
The funny thing is I called the techs at glowshift and I explained my findings. The guy said NO WAY the sending unit fails....I pretty much told him hes an idiot...ordered one and it was fixed. I am pretty certain the sending unit is a cheap CHINA make and prone to failure.
[QUOTE=Misky6.0;12373989]I use the SGII which shows everything, EXCEPT Fuel pressure & EGT.
I wanted to retain the grab handle, so I went with a single gauge pillar pod
but with a digital gauge with 2 readouts.
They are expensive, but I've very pleased./QUOTE]
Your Scan gauge won't show coolant pressure
I use a toggle switch & blue led glow shift gauge with 2 identical senders
to switch between fuel/coolant pressures

My fuel gauge hasn't had a problem and the only problem I had was that the hose I got from them for the boost gauge was far to small in terms of it's ID. Quick trip to the hardware store fixed it but it still sucked.
I also purchased the single gauge holder that retains the grab handle. Did you have to cut the old one to fit the new one in or does it fit over? I have a 3in1 guage pod for there and a double gauge pod for under the dash with oil and water temp gauges. I was not able to install the oil temp sensor with the kit they sold me has anyone done this. Thanks
Just did my three gauge pillar of these gauges white face, Looks great awesome sweep on start up and green matches lariat white face stock gauges. However I too have had the fuel pressure gauge act insane normally I run around 70psi while on the way home running on the highway for about an hour my fuel pressure was bouncing erratic from 70-100 no change at all in the vehicle running condition. Since then never happened again so IDK if I have a short somewhere in the wiring or sending unit starting to go. All in all great gauges and easy to install.
One other thing I noticed is that the lights almost have a flicker to them Im not sure if thats me or if anyone else has noticed this.
I have had the glow shifts in a 3 gauge pillar for almost 2 years now with no problems..I run fuel, oil, and air pressure gauges...I have the tinted gauges and I would not recomend this..I have to have the back lights on all the time to read the gauge...
I really like mine, my fuel pressure gauge has been in for about 7 months it was erratic pegging at 100 after a phone call to tec support they had me move the ground to a different location it's been fine ever since
with the exception of my EGT probe going bad after about 2.5 years (might have been to close to the pipe and overheated the wire) I love them. My FP has been rock steady for the whole time. For the cost, you cant beat them IMO.
you dont tap into the headlights as supposedly that will cause issues per the instructions. you tap into a key on hot wire and they illuminate all the time.
I work at an airport maintaining transport category aircraft. I decided to compare the Glowshift guages and Autometer guages in our Precision Measurment Equipment lab (PMEL). The GS EGT was spot on, the AM was out by about half a needle high. The Trans temp on both were OK, the boost guages were both right on. We put them through a vibration test. They both performed flawlessly. As for which ones I am putting in my truck, I am going with the Glowshifts as they are less expensive but perform as well as the Autometers.

Hawk thank you for doing the testing. I have had issues with AM in the past few years. So I'm think about going with the Glowshift 3in1 egt/boost/ fuel pressure. So I am wondering how the Glowshift gauges are holding up for guy that have been running them for a few years now.
Thanks, Kuzz
