Procedure to change your HPO...

Start truck.

Drive truck...

HPO is now changed.

Just so you have an understanding of the HPO system...

You can try removing that plug and starting your truck. After you clean the gallons of oil off everything tell me it dosent get circulated and drain back into the pan. I can see doing this only if the truck sat for a long period of time if there's any in the HPOP after that long.

Thanx CCIPSP for your quick response.
Sure seemed like I pulled some grimey oil out compared to my recent leak and oil change.

Ignore 90% of what comes out of that mans mouth. Powerstrokehelp is no good for the powerstroke owner. Instead, visit us here at FTE and ask, read and learn.

Sadly a lot of fleets, because they dont have time to research things so they trust a shop who proclaims to know what they are doing.

Welcome to FTE This is a great group of guys and I have learned so much from them. My truck and I owe so much to FTE.

So if you have any question just feel free to ask. The only dumb question is the one not asked.
