Need wiring suggestions
I'm not a wizard at the wiring thing (actually not a wizard at anything) so I need some help.
I'm doing the windstar dual electric fan conversion using a Derale 16749 controller. It has a built in 40amp relay to handle one of the fans and I want to add a second relay to handle the other fan, using the first fan as the trigger.
My dilemma is not know where to tie in the switched power (85) for the second relay. Based on wiring diagram #3 on the second page of the install manual what suggestions does anyone have?

The answer:
Tie the switched wire (85) to the source (30) making the switch always hot. Then tie the ground (86) into the switched ground on the controller. 87 is connected to the 2nd fans hot side and the fan is grounded to the chassis.
