luggage rack
my wife took my 1997 sport to fla. coming back the front cross member of the factory luggage rack came loose on one and flipped over and broke the other side and fell in the traffic. is this something that happens often and how do i prevent in the future just tighten them everytime i get into it???

I've never heard of that before. The bolt must have come loose over time. I don't think you need to check it everytime you use the X, but I would check them periodicaly. I know I check mine when ever I wash it. Never had one come loose though.
