08 6.4 upgrades

I have a 08 f350 SRW 6.4 diesel .... New addition to my Ford work play trucks .
It has 93 k miles & I like this newer truck .. It goes in to local ford dealer net week for look over & coolant check .
I'm looking to do so upgrades .. Programer ?? ...
I'm selling my RV & getting a 5th wheel camper , so I'll be doing some towing .

If this was your truck .. What & how far would you go ?

I'm also looking to replace the stereo & would like to hook up my tailgate camera .

Still luv my 99 f350 7.3 6 speed flat bed with 500k om it & still pulling

Thanks

air bags with on board compressor and aux fitting for tires would be my first upgrade.

Stereo with built in Nav would be the next item unless you already have them

BTW...do the coolant flush and be sure to do 5K oil changes and 10K fuel filter changes on this motor.

Thanks senx ..... I'm getting coolant flush & stat change ,plus new rad due to a dripping issue ..
Looking to get a 5th wheel installed , due to it being a short box ... Any type you would go with , taking into consideration I hope to fit a aux fuel tank

A slider hitch is what I would recommend. I have a Reese Signature series slider. It is a hidden hitch much like the factory ones in the 2011's came out with.

I think Reese now calls them Elite.

Pullrite I think makes an automatic slider.

I am still running just the factory fuel tank. Makes for more fillups but I usually got to pee by then anyway.

Mine has been outstanding and very reliable. My 5er comes in at 14K.

I get about 7-9 mpgs on average towing at 65 mph.

3.73 gears.

Stitting at 74K miles and 1900 hours on the motor.

Original radiator and t stats. Updated upper rad hose though.

Well that's great to know ... It has taken me some time to find what I wanted ...
08 F350 SD 6.4 crew cab short bet .. Blue FX4 bone stock .. No bed hitch .. & I found one 2 weeks ago ... Very happy with the $ I've spent .
Now it's going to Ford to go over the beauty & address my slight coolant drip & for some full synthetic blood lol .
Then I'd like to add all the upgrades to make her a pulling machine .

Any other things I need to look over or keep a eye on .. Please let me know

Thanks

Here is a link to another post:

Read the advice given by wp6569 second posting.

Rather than do all that typing he has a canned one already.

7-10 is what I get. You may be better. My 5er is high profile sits at 13'6" so there is alot of drag there.
