Ranger transmission
Greetings
A friend has a mid-90's Ranger 4x4 automatic. Recently, once in a while the transmission will not move the vehicle - the engine will start to rev but the vehicle will just move a bit. Does not matter whether forward or reverse.
What is interesting is that if you turn the vehicle off and then back on the transmission will work fine. Does this sound like a electronic control? Anyone had this issue before?
