Newbie boost question

I have probably an easy question for some of yall. 2000 Model truck has 155k mi on it. It has some mods done many moons ago. It runs good BUT, I like the whine of the turbo and think I want a wicked wheel. It has a Banks big head on it and it pushes 22 lbs of boost when I push it. Do I need to leave it alone or would I be good to install the WW when I reseal the pedestal?

Ryan.

I towed a mid size kubota tractor with a bucket on the front today. It had no surge at all. I want to eventually get a camper so I will eventually tow with it regularly.

the wicked wheel will help solve the turbo surge..If i was buying a camper then I would probally go that route...expecally if you are pulling the turbo...
