2002 f150 4x4 problem

Very frusterated ...cant figure it out
4x4 wont work,when i shift the lever on the floor it doesnt engage so i bought two new soleniods..didnt help,have power on both solenoid conections
if i unhook my vacume lines frome the solenoid i can push the Actuator rod in making my 4x4 work
i,v gone threw everything..have vacume...have power on my solenoids..just nothin works when i shift into 4x4 on the floor

ANY ideas?????please

Well yeah.
You forgot all the other things that are involved with the system.
The lever has to signal the transfer case motor to run to the first position.
This turns a link rod in the transfer case to engage the front drive shaft and operates the 'High' solenoid to pull the actuator in and engage the front drive.
First check is the case motor runs.
Fuse to the motor is good etc.
It's way more than just relay operation in these trucks..

Thanks for the info but where is the case motor located and how is it checked?
i,v checked every fuse i could find

On the back of the transfer case.
It has a connector on it.
