LMC rear bumper

LMC rear bumper
Hey guys, i got my new "HD" bumper from LMC put on the other day with there mounting kit, Bumper looks great and all but must sit higher than the factory bumper because my tailgate rests on the bumper before the limiting cables can do there job.. anyone else run into this?? Im sure i could get slightly shorter limiting cables, there just isnt much adjustment on the bumper itself.

Are the holes slotted on the brackets at all? If not you may have to slot them so you can lower the bumper a touch. Do you have a part #/link the bumper you purchased?

No the holes are not slotted, wish they were, the bumper looks great its just the mounting kit that is stupid in my opinion. I think it would fit an Fseries fine because there tailgates are skinnier than our broncos...
