Almost any OE engine these days is holding back potential power, not just the 5.0L.
The flat table top torque curve of the Ecoboost is not natural and is tell-tale sign than the engine torque is purposefully being held back with tuning. Probably doing this to ensure transmission longevity. There is a lot of power left on the table (no pun intended).
true but i wonder what and how much did get held back in the hole line of new motors? hell the 5.4 kept getting better with out new part added to it....was it tuning? only time will tell
