Hearing Dings

I have 1999 F-150 4x4 pickup, XLT package with the 5.4L Tritton V8. Its been a great truck but now intermittently the audible ding for the seatbelts, keys, lights, and or ignition just starts dinging when I'm driving. doesn't matter if i'm belted in or not. Just about to drive me nuts, has anyone had a similar problem? If so what is the cause? if not where would you even begin to look?

Most likely one of the door latches . Some have had luck cleaning & lubing ...

If you still have the owners manual, see what fuse feeds the alarm. If there's nothing else on that circuit that you need, just pull the fuse. Crude, but would work.
