Im going to be running a 429 in my 49 f1. It has the stock radiator. Will it be able to cool the 429 or should i get a better radiator?

I would be getting a better radiator if it was me. Youv'e got an engine that is twice the size and more than twice the power of the original.

Mid fifty has an oem looking rad that will cool most anything you can throw at it that isnt too radical that I'm putting in front of my hi po 390.

i'm no expert, but the size alone should sufficient to cool most anything. but the 50's cores and fans are not, I had mine re-cored and am using a much more efficient fan without and shroud (i plan to get a shroud only if needed)
