Hello all,
Recently started undertaking the project of getting the old drums out of the 72 truck. I'm also going to tackle the suspension and alignment parts as well in this process. I do have a question with this though when getting a new drag link and center link original Fords have only one adjustment point for the toe on both sides like these newer dodges running around? Has anyone ran into an aftermarket drag link and center link that has adjustments on both sides to tackle the toe adjustments? Hope this thread will make sense I'd like to make it a "gm style" with adjustments on both ends as I know how much of a pain it is to only have an adjustment on one side. Oh forgot to mention I'd like to keep the stock ride height on this truck if I can always liked the front lowered stance on these trucks makes it look like your gonna pop a wheelie when you take off from a stop light
check out autofab.com. they make one for the lift kits. he sells just the steering but it is pricey. (you don't need to run the lift to use the tie rods and center link). when i asked him about it i think it was around 300 dollars for everything. call john or send him a email for a updated price.
