Opinions - Posi Rear

Got the fuel tanks swapped out. Now next project is the sloppy rear. Has a lot of play. Figured since it was coming apart it would go back together better. Looking at installing some type of "posi". Currently "one wheel spin". I've had Traction Locs over the years but that was many years ago and I am open to whats good out there. Also looking at a gear change. Currently stock with 2.75. Mayne somewhere 3.25-3.50. It's not a race truck, is there really such a thing? Just a weekend show and cruise truck. Also planning to pull a small vintage trailer locally.
Thanks.

F150 with 9" rear? Engine and tire diameter matter a lot also.

That said, around 3.50 is a good all around gear for cruising and light towing.

912A587 Eaton Detroit Truetrac limited slip. You should be able to get it for $500 or less. No clutches and no cones to wear out, it's all done with gears. Plus, it corners normally on dry pavement.
