thanks for all your inputs on the different leveling kits . i went with the stock x codes perfect no noticeable differance in ride quality it does not seem stiffer and 2 to 3 in height. thanks guys i would recomend them to anyone
the biggest differance is in the end the arc looks the same see pic. jc i got them from my dealer 150 ea but im a body shop so i get a good price and were delieverd to my door . clay has them for i think 133 but im in NC a long way from him so shipping will add up. ive read they were the stock spring for the snow plow package.
I've been looking hard at the X codes too. 2 - 3 inches clearance sounds really good to me, but on stock wheels it might look odd. OTOH I always liked mid 70's Hi Boys... Anyway, would you have pics of the ride height pre and post install?
How can you tell if you all ready have x springs mine looks like the black ones in the pic. My front sets about 3" lower then the back 01 f350 4x4 cc lb

If they are original you can reference the sticker on your door jamb which shows the front and rear spring codes.
common 4X4 front spring codes from a post on another forum:
R = 3,600 pounds @ground
S = 4,000
T = 4,400
U = 4,800
V = 5,200 (common for CrewCab PSD 4x4s)
W = 5,600 (normally chassis cab only)
X = 6,000 (snowplow pkg only)

My dad still has 16" rims with 285 75's on his F350 with X codes and it looks fine.
