Pheasant hunting and then beer on their new property. I won't complain.

Good morning everyone!! Busy cleaning up little stuff around here. I spent some time cleaning up a bunch of stuff with the drives on our mail servers. This morning, I'm fixing some backup stuff with them.

At one point, I sort of freaked out this morning. When I went to look into something, I found over half of the disks missing from Windows. Weird since the mail software wasn't complaining about it at all. I could see them from elsewhere, but not from where I expected to. I logged out of the server an back in and all was fine. Whew ... I'm nervous enough about doing stuff to these servers. They are very picky and when things get out of whack, they get ornery and we have a few thousand users yelling at us. There are only about 20,000+ mailboxes on these servers.

Maybe beer first, then pheasant hunting. I think that's how Dick Chaney did it.

I have a slow pick-em-up truck for winter. One that will need new tires soon.

Alright Jim, you bring the case of Mich Golden and I will bring the shotgun shells.

BTW, do you know a decent exhaust shop that can re-fit the tailpipes on my Mustang?

Didn't you just put tires on that truck when you got your new rims? How many miles do you have on them?

Always. The first rev of Exchange 2010 was picky as heck. If you looked at it wrong, it corrupted a database. It's been a lot better lately and is a lot more forgiving now. I've been burned by mistakes more than once, so I'm a little over cautious with these. Plus, our backups haven't been very reliable, so it makes me even more nervous.

Nothing too special. Just getting stuff done around here before winter is upon us. How about you?

The hope is to take advantage of the nice weather and get a good chunk of the shed finished. I've got three walls up. The rest should go pretty easy.

Other than that, not much. Katie is gone for the weekend, so it's me and the kids.

I want to say that I have 40k miles on them. They are not bald yet. I might have 5k before they hit the wear bars.
