Hi Mat, we had summer!

Happy Saturday!
Well, race season at Top Gun is over. I miss it already. I did ride the bike to work today. That was fun! But, now what am I going to do? No job, no money & stuck at home...BORING!!!!

Jim - I've got a surfboard, but it's too damn cold & there's no ocean around here. Damn it! Send some warm weather & the ocean please.

Bruce - Acid etching works well too. It sounds like it's coming along pretty good! Can't wait to see pics. Jimmy has done acid etching, but anymore, he mainly uses a dremel free hand.

Mat - It's good to see you back! I hope all of your health issues are taken care of & your better now?! I'm glad that your email provider got things straightened out. What a mess, huh? Sounds like you've been busy!
Things have slowed down on the board & we have a couple new members that don't participate like they used too or at all! I think Michelle's computer is down again, but I did get a text from her a couple weeks ago. She's been keeping busy & is doing good. As for me...I have a new/used motorcycle & recently passed my basic rider safety course. So now I'm an official "M" endorsed rider!

Kaedon went to school today & so far, so good!
Karl is still home with an ear infection & mild H F & M disease. I expect that he'll be back in school before the end of the week. (I hope) Karl is so bored! He wants to lay on the couch & watch TV, but I told him he had to stay in his room or go outside! I'm tired of cleaning, disinfecting & sterilizing every room in the house! I'm trying to narrow it down to just 3 rooms - their bathroom & their bedrooms!

Jimmy & I haven't gotten it yet. Knock on wood! I'm trying to keep it that way!

Bruce - I heard something about summer passing by.

Donna - Awesome to hear and congrats! Just be AWARE and SAFE out there. Cagers (people in cars/trucks/semis/etc) drive crazy and do NOT watch out for motorcyclists. So, please, please be careful. I'm sure Monkey (if he is still on here) can attest to that as well.

I've been pretty much riding my bike daily to/from work and I see a lot of stupid crap that people to (especially cutting me off) me as I'm riding. Just be sure to give them lots of extra space. Especially as a newer rider. You should do it all the time anyways, but just sayin'.

Welcome to the club and the addiction! What did you get to ride anyway?

Jim - I agree w/ Bruce. Good idea...Sounds like fun!

Mat - I totally agree w/ you on riding safely! There are a bunch of disrespectful, idiots on the road (even motorcyclists) & they can look right at you & still not see you! (&/or they just don't care). I've already dealt with tailgaters on a 2 lane highway & I tend to get nervous, but I just breath through it. I just remain at the posted speed limit or whatever speed doing at the time & if they don't like it...they can go around me! If they can't & they continue, I either slow down or speed up to get like 5-6 car lengths ahead of them. Ofcourse, they tend to speed up too & end up right on me *** again! (jerks!) I just make it obvious when I shake my head "NO" like they're idiots, then I slow down again & stay there until they pass. I've even had other motorcyclists pass me on the shoulder! Oh well, better to be safe than sorry!

Ninja 600 eh. Interesting bike for new rider to get. Isn't that one of the crotch rockets that go from 0-60 in 2 secs? Should be able to get out of trouble (or into it) real quick with that thing! Looks like there is a smile on your grand daughters face. Won't be long and she will be asking you for the keys eh?

Yeah, I thought mooning someone on a Monday would be a great idea, but I put that disclaimer in there just in case somebody actually tried it.

G'day Y'all here on FTE !!! The rumors of my early demise are highly exaggerated ... I'm too old and tough to get wiped out early ... IMHO !!!
I spent from Wed. to Fri. in Vegas at a wedding (no not mine) and had a ton of fun Then when I got back... surprise my internet was down, and is still hit and miss !!!! I called to see if they could get over on the water tower and move the antenna, or something

My cell phone has 4G service and all that ... but NOT IN PAHRUMP !!! I called it in for a service call, but who the heck knows when that will happen!!!
