Rear main seal and sleeve
Could anyone help with where I could get a rear main seal and a sleeve for the crank. I have been told that my seal is leaking again. I had one put in about 30,000 ago when I had the trans replaced at a Dealership. So if it was replaced then I have also been told that it could be blow by causing pressure which could have blown the seal. Any help I get would be awesome.

Check with a flashlight under the hood. Look behind the fuel bowl and down into the valley. If you see oil... we just narrowed a whole bunch of stuff...
If one of the common leaks springs up on your hpop or oillines... the oil collects in the valley and makes its way to the rear of the engine...into a drain hole... down the back of the motor...and out another drain hole that eventually lands it at the torque converter inspection cover...
Probably a simple solution...
But.
If it IS a rear main blown... your motor probably wouldnt be running very long...as you would dump all your oil and the motor would shut itself down.
It would also require the motor coming completely out for repair if im not mistaken.

Have you positively confirmed that it is the main seal, which very rarely fails on our motors? Check in you valley for any build up or seepage of oil. If it's wet in there, chances are it's not your main seal. There's a drain hole at the back of the valley which allows any leaks to exit, down the back of the block, running right beside the rear main seal, and out through the flywheel/torque converter cover.
I would confirm this first because if it is coming from on the top side of your motor, chances are it could be a relatively easy and inexpensive fix.

The dealer will say it is a rear seal just to charge you for the job. Most of the time it is the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve oil actuator in the turbo pedestal. You would need a mirror to see it. The actuator has a rod that attaches to the EBP Valve under the turbo. Follow the rod to the pedestal and you may find the leak. As stated above, the leaked oil goes to the drain valve at rear of valley if that is the leak.

If it is truly the pressure in engine then you can verify by removing oil cap while running and balance cap upsidedown on filler neck. If it is being " blown" off forcefully then your Crank Case Vent is plugged or the hose leading to your turbo inlet is plugged. Unlikely hose is plugged.
