Greetings FTE'ers! After months of working every weekend on Gertie, I finally drove her home to Columbus, IN yesterday. The 48 mile trip was relatively uneventful, except that I had to pull over four times to clean the crap out of the fuel line.
The question I have today for the parts gurus, is if the motor mounts for the 239 flathead are the same for both the F-1 and F-2. My mounts are pretty well squashed, and the fan is running perilously close to the bottom of the guard.
It can get confusing owning an F2 or F3, I think a lot of vendors list F1 only as they themselves don't know what interchanges. I've bought quite a lot of "F1 only" parts for my F3.
