2. get an otterbox for it. If you drop it, sit on it, etc, it will save it from damage

1. Got a screen protector. Isn't lifetime; came with two in the package.
2. Not sure if OtterBox makes a case for this phone, but the Verizon place didn't have them for it. Did get a good case for it, though.
3. Yup, that's how I always kept my old phone.
